Intermediate classes:
Q: Do you have intermediate classes?
A: Yes. Intermediate classes are open to all Iyengar certified teachers. All others must attain the permission of the instructor to attend. |

Q: What kind of Yoga do you teach?
A: We teach strictly Iyengar Yoga.
Q: Do you teach meditation?
A: We do not teach sitting meditation. We do teach the regulation of the breath to interested students with some experience.

I have this problem...:
Q: I am older and stiff, can I do yoga?
A: Yes. Yoga is quite beneficial for aging gracefully and bringing back lost flexibility.
Q: I have a young child, what is the minimum age?
A: Children should be at least 13 years old before attending regular classes.
Q: I have a back, knee, neck, problem; can I come and will this help me?
A: Depending on the severity of the problem and the assent of your doctor you may be able to attend regular classes. Speak to the instructor before coming. While many people who have been afflicted with these ailments report that they feel better after regularly practicing yoga, we can not however guarantee that you will feel better.
Q: I have some disease. Can I come?
A: Depending on the severity of the problem and the assent of your doctor you may be able to attend regular classes. You should not be contagious. Speak to the instructor before coming.
Q: I have cancer. Can I come and will this help?
A: Yoga does not cure cancer. However yoga may help you to feel better during and after chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Depending on the severity of the problem and the assent of your doctor you may be able to attend regular classes. Speak to the instructor before coming. |
